Midlands Air Ambulance is a charity organisation that provides a life-saving emergency response service for people that have been involved in a traumatic accident anywhere within the 6 counties of the Midlands. The charity operates a fleet of 3 helicopters and 3 critical care cars and every year, needs to raise in excess of £11 million in order to keep their fleet operational.
The Recognition Awards ceremony gives the charity an opportunity to acknowledge and thank the notable individuals and groups of people that have helped keep the charity running through their volunteering and fundraising efforts as well as recognise any exceptional cases where the work of the the aircrew, doctors and paramedics made a difference in outcome for the people they helped by providing immediate medical assistance and transporting them on to the best possible medical centre to continue their life-saving treatment.
i.One Photography were tasked with capturing the event from start to finish, including a red carpet arrival of the guests including special guests such as Nina Hossain (ITV News), Richie Anderson (BBC’s The One Show) and the legendary Barry Chuckle (The Chuckle Brothers), 15 awards winner presentations live on stage by event hosts Will Mellor (Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps) and Ed James (Heart FM) alongside the various awards sponsors and the entertainment late into the evening.
